An Introduction: Emma Grace YunNa

Back in August 2004..

We were a family of six about to become a clan of seven.

In June 2004, we got "the call" that told us our 7th member was a beautiful 15 month old baby girl waiting in an orphanage in Beijing, China. She had been born on February 14, 2003 and abandoned outside an office building the day after her birth. The police kept her for five days hoping to find her parents. Unable to, they took her to the local orphanage where she would spend the first 18 months of her life before meeting her family. The orphanage workers named her Xi, Yun Na.

This blog entails the story of our journey "To China for Emma" in August 2004. Bear with me as I try to add all the pictures and messages we sent while in China!! I'll try to add more through the next few weeks so everyone can see our journey to Emma.
